I am starting out by doing a very detailed workup of the image in pencil first. There is still a little more to go on the pencil before I start the inking.

Hangin' Out
My wife snapped a photo of these two monkeys several years ago at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. I really like the composition of this image and the monkeys' poses as they are clearly intent on something happening to the right. The San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park are great places to get close up views of wild animals in a natural environment.
