Evolution of the picture

I continue to use the pencils on the picture. More and more layers of color are added, especially to the monkeys and you will notice the drawing is evolving from a colored pen and ink drawing to something more like a hybrid of the two media. The harsh edges of the pen drawing fall away as the ink is covered by layers of burnished pencil, yet some of the pen texture still comes through.
