Simple But Effective

This was a very simple illustration; large masses of black with just a few highlights to suggest the pup.  Despite the simplicity the mind's eye has a way of adding in the mssing detail making the drawing look more complex than it really is.  Just a few highlights suggest shape, form and texture for the entire body.
